What you’ll do:
- Lead the integration of energy efficiency strategies and sustainable design principles into architectural concepts for construction projects, including healthcare facilities, laboratories, and residential developments.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, including engineers, designers, and clients, to develop innovative solutions that maximize energy performance.
- Conduct comprehensive energy modeling using software tools such as eQUEST and/or EnergyPlus to evaluate building performance, assess energy consumption, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Develop detailed energy-efficient design strategies, incorporating renewable energy systems, passive design techniques, insulation methodologies, and HVAC optimization.
- Lead the production of accurate and compelling energy-related reports.
What you must have:
- A degree in Architecture or related field.
- +5 years of relevant architectural experience with a proven focus on energy efficiency and sustainable design.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software such as eQUEST and/or EnergyPlus is essential.
- Strong understanding of building systems, envelope design, HVAC systems, and renewable energy technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to energy efficiency and sustainability in construction.
- Excellent proficiency both in spoken and written English.
