We are looking for a talented electrical engineer to collaborate with our client, a consulting engineering firm from California with a reputation for excellence. What you’ll do:

  • Read single-line diagrams.
  • Identify adjustments of electrical protections in reports provided by the client.
  • Model electrical power distribution networks in EasyPower, including equipment such as generators, conductors, switchboards, motors, UPSs, and protections, among others.
  • Adjustment and coordination of protections.
  • Short-circuit studies.
  • Evaluate short-circuit levels per equipment.
  • Analysis of arc flash levels according to the IEEE 1584-2018 standard.
  • Create labels to indicate levels of short-circuit and arc flash in the studied switchboards, including the personal protective equipment required for performing hot work according to NFPA 70E.
  • Edit reports to inform the results of the studies according to the client’s requirements.

What you must have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Proficiency in EasyPower and/or SKM.
  • An advanced English level.
  • Previous experience working for the US.
