What you’ll do:
- Proficiently read and interpret entire sets of construction drawings, including architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Utilize Excel to prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Demonstrate an expert level of proficiency in Excel, using it extensively to manage and analyze project data.
- Collaborate effectively with our internal project team and communicate with clients regarding project estimates and cost-related matters.
What you must have:
- +5 years of experience in construction estimation, including reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Previous experience working for the US with the Construction Cost Codes by CSI.
- Ideally, you can handle both architectural and MEP disciplines, but specialization in one area is also valuable.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
