What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain internal tools that support coding, deployment, monitoring, and operations using hard skills in Postgres, Node, HTML, and CSS.
- Work closely with the development teams to understand their workflow needs and provide them with the tools to accelerate feature development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and ensure that tools are robust and up-to-date.
- Design user interfaces that are intuitive and enable developers to interact efficiently with the tools you create using HTML and CSS.
- Implement full-stack solutions that can manage complex data and handle large-scale system integration with expertise in Postgres and Node.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing tools, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and introduce new tooling concepts to improve team agility and codebase health.
What you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient with multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or similar.
- Extensive experience with database management and data processing, particularly in Postgres.
- Strong foundation in systems design, with an understanding of API design and distributed backend systems.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with expertise in HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to producing high-quality software.
- Familiarity with source control management systems like Git and SVN.
- An advanced English level.
